Flexible Living with Individualised Living Options (ILO)
Individualised Living Options (ILO) offer a modern and flexible alternative to traditional NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL). While ILOs have been successfully implemented in Western Australia for many years, they represent a relatively new and evolving approach in New South Wales.
The ILO journey begins with a formal Exploration and Design phase, where the most suitable living arrangement is identified in close collaboration with the participant and their family. This process ensures that the supports are tailored to the individual’s goals, preferences, and lifestyle. Registered ILO services are developed through in-depth consultation with the participant to ensure their needs are met. If the chosen support staff or living arrangement does not align with the participant’s expectations, we will work with you to review and redesign the setup—ensuring it remains person-centred and responsive.
